Welcome to Early Years 

At St Joseph’s Catholic Primary Academy, Brighouse, our Early Years Foundation Stage provides a happy, nurturing and stimulating environment where every child is valued and encouraged to flourish. Through a balance of purposeful play, adult-led learning and exciting hands-on experiences, we inspire curiosity, independence and a lifelong love of learning. Rooted in our Catholic values, we support children’s spiritual, social, emotional and academic development, helping them grow in confidence, build positive relationships and develop the skills they need for the next stage of their learning journey.

We use Class Dojo to keep in touch with parents and share all the exciting things happening in Early Years! Each week, we upload photographs and updates of the children’s learning so you can see what they have been exploring and achieving. Parents can also use Class Dojo to message staff, helping us work together to support your child’s learning and development.
